Adult Discipleship

Adult Bible Study

The Adult Bible Study class will meet at 7:30 pm on Monday, December 2nd, in the Upper Room. We will discuss Chapter 6 of our study,” Matthew: The Gospel of Promised Blessings”, by Matthew Skinner. The title is “Taking Matthew Seriously Today”. Our texts are listed on page 91 of the book.

Second Blessing

The Second Blessing class will meet on Sunday, December 1st, to begin its Advent study, “Incarnation”, by Adam Hamilton. Ann will lead our discussion of Chapter 1:”Presidents and Kings”. We hope you will join us on December 1st at 11:20 in the parlor.

Thursday Morning Bible Study

Thursday Morning Bible Study will meet on Thursdays @ 10:00 am.

Capital Campaign | Five+Five

BAY YOUTH

Confirmation Class meets on Sunday mornings at 9am. 

• Children are always welcome in worship! Children are welcome to come forward for the children's sermon. After the children's sermon, children from four-years old - fourth grade will be accompanied to their classroom on the third floor of the Sunday School wing, where they can be picked up after worship.
• Quest Kids' Club will meet on Thursdays 4:30 pm- 5:30 pm. 
• Children's Christmas Pageant         December 22 during worship.

We're Hiring!

We are looking for a passionate and nurturing leader of Young Disciples to coordinate and teach our Sunday School program and youth ministry initiatives.

As Youth Education Coordinator, you will shape the spiritual development of young people from age 5 to 15, fostering an environment of inclusive learning and faithful discipleship.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate Sunday School programming, including curriculum selection, teacher recruitment, and volunteer training

• Ensure compliance with Safe Sanctuaries policies

• Coordinate special programs (VBS, ASP, holiday events, youth Sunday)

• Facilitate youth participation in church life and Methodist traditions

• Engage parents and families in youth faith formation

Qualifications:

• Experience in youth education or ministry

• Understanding of Methodist theology and values

• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

• Proven ability to recruit and coordinate volunteers

• Background check required

• Safe Sanctuaries training required
